About GREAT
GREAT is a branch of the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA). offering programs in healthcare and food service with specific attention to celiac disease and the gluten-free diet.
- GREAT Healthcare includes training modules tailored to the needs of each healthcare discipline, with the goal of improving detection, diagnosis and treatment of celiac disease.
- GREAT Food Service empowers the food industry to provide safe, gluten-free options
to individuals and institutions. Programs include GREAT Kitchens, which trains chefs and food service managers, and GREAT Product Registration, which trains manufacturers in the proper steps for safe production of retail and commericial gluten-free foods. - The GREAT Gluten-Free Business Association is a national nonprofit business association of gluten-free businesses (restaurants, manufacturers, and professionals) and other interested parties. The Business Association works to enhance and improve the gluten-free business climate in the nation by promoting quality, tested gluten-free products; protecting the rights of gluten-free consumers; and assisting businesses to improve marketability and profits by providing access to support and consulting.
About NFCA
The National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness and funding for celiac disease that will advance research, education and screening amongst medical professionals, children, and adults on a gluten free diet.
